I walked this morning through the gate, into the satisfaction
Lately I’ve been lost for choice, and it’s not amusing
10,000 soulless options – where is the one direction
Where is the singularity – where is the holy meaning?

Once there was a holy grail, never reached but not in vain
We lived on the strength of the journey, not question the meaning
Now I sojourn this in you – your oldest word it sounds so new
My satisfaction is finding truth - in the one direction

And then you ask yourself; what will be left when I’m gone
And will the love I’ve shown, outshine the hate I’ve known
And you ask yourself, what will be waiting for me
My treasure or my bad history

This world can make you sore; make you shut all of your doors
You walk the high path, and what’s the problem with that
There is no purpose in you – except the ones you’re given to
There is no field to harvest – except the one you’ve sown
